In the meantime, Nepal grapples with the persistent problem of stray dogs wandering the streets.
Unfortunately, the problem of stray dogs in Nepal is becoming increasingly worse. According to Online Khabar, there are numerous abandoned dogs roaming the streets, and in just Kathmandu alone, there are approximately 30,000 of them. Currently, there is no effective solution in place to deal with this issue, leading to almost 99% of these dogs suffering from serious ailments.
Despite their affectionate and resilient nature, these dogs often die from hunger and various diseases caused by the unhygienic conditions they live in. However, we are hopeful that a resolution will be implemented soon to provide these adorable dogs with a safe and secure place to live and eventually find a forever home, which they truly deserve.
